One of the most popular dining establishments in Anguilla is Uncle Ernie’s Beach Bar. It is boldly positioned at the end of the main road to Shoal Bay East Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Anguilla and one of the most gorgeous lengths of sand in the Caribbean.

The late Ernest Benjamin Harrigan, lovingly known to almost everyone on the island as “Uncle Ernie,” opened the pub in 1984. Now held by his daughters Eileen and Icilma as well as his nephew Franklin, it is still a family business.

It is a casual, unassuming bar with affordable prices that guarantee value without compromising on quality.

When available, Uncle Ernie’s serves crab and lobster, the cheapest beer on the island, and his signature rum punch in addition to a full lunch and supper menu.
